Requesting a new Prescription

There are several ways of re-ordering your regular medication from your Doctor. You will need to see your Doctor at regular intervals to review your health and/or medication. You can register for Manage My Health and request your prescription on-line. This is the most efficient method as your request goes directly to your Doctor. Obtain a list of your medications from your pharmacy and drop that into our Receptionists for a prescription renewal, or you can come in to the Health Centre and complete a Prescription Request Form. You will find these on the right hand side of the front Reception counter and also at the desk in the waiting room to your left. Hand your completed form to a Receptionist. Always make sure you have two or three weeks supply of your medication on hand in case of emergency or a delay in preparing your prescription.
If you would like to be able to request your prescription on-line, register for Manage My Health the on-line patient portal, where you can also book an appointment, view your laboratory results and much more.  Click here to find out about Manage My Health. We undertake to have your prescription ready for you to collect from the front desk 2 working days after we receive your request. Weekend requests will be available on Tuesday afternoons. You will need to see your Doctor at regular intervals to review your health and/or medication. If you are going on holiday, make sure you request a repeat prescription ahead of time, and be sure to take your medication with you.
